Why we built TellMeHow

Every process audit starts with interviews. They are the most expensive part of the audit, and the part where the most information gets lost.

What got us started

Fifteen one-hour interviews mean fifteen hours of listening, as many hours of note-taking and cleanup, and weeks of calendar juggling to find slots. Consultants spend their time collecting rather than analyzing, and audits often stop at a sample of people.

In an interview, people describe the process as it is supposed to work. The copy-paste between two windows, the shared spreadsheet set up "for now," the order number rekeyed into the ERP only show up when you watch someone work. That is why the AI interviewer asks to see the screen and asks about what it sees there.

Finally, consolidation is still done by hand: cross-checking what accounting and sales administration say happens in someone’s head or in a spreadsheet, and the final deliverable makes claims without showing where each one comes from. We wanted a client sponsor to be able to click a finding and hear the sentence, or see the screenshot, behind it.

Our principles

  • Processes, not people

The product gives no one a rating, a score, or a ranking, and does not analyze emotions. This rule is built into the product: no setting can get around it.

  • Evidence everywhere

A finding without evidence does not exist. Every process step, figure, and opportunity links to a timestamped audio clip, a transcript, a screenshot, or an artifact, and every estimate carries its range and sources.

  • Participants stay in control

They pick their time, pause, choose what they show, then review and correct what was captured before validating it. What they remove is truly gone.

  • Built for the European framework

The application is hosted in France, and the product provides a works council kit, a DPIA template, and a processing agreement. We design every feature with GDPR, the AI Act, and French labor law in mind, and we say where the data sent to AI providers goes.

  • AI of the firm’s choosing

Voice, transcription, vision, analysis, chat, and search: each of these six uses is configured separately, with the provider and model of the firm’s choice. The firm itself weighs quality in its language, cost, and data sovereignty.

TellMeHow is published by Trustelia, a French company operating the Mankova Consulting brand. We support each firm, from opening its workspace to publishing its first deliverable.

Frequently asked questions

Who publishes TellMeHow?

TellMeHow is published by Trustelia, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) operating the Mankova Consulting brand. The site’s legal notice gives its full details.

Do you need a specific automation tool to use TellMeHow?

No. TellMeHow works on its own and its output is neutral: processes export to BPMN 2.0, findings and opportunities to CSV or JSON, and deliverable documents to PDF, PowerPoint, or Word. An analysis produced by another tool can be imported into an engagement in the public exchange format, like any other external source.

Where is the data hosted?

The application and its data are hosted in France, with OVHcloud. AI processing goes through the providers the firm chooses: by default OpenAI, which processes data in the United States under standard contractual clauses. European options, such as Mistral, are available for analysis, chat, and vision.

Does the AI replace the consultant?

No. The AI interviewer handles the collection, meaning the interviews, and proposes a consolidation. The consultant configures the method, reviews and corrects the analysis, decides on follow-ups, writes the recommendations, and publishes the deliverable under the firm’s brand.
