Cookie policy
The cookies and trackers this site sets, what they are for, how long they last, and how to accept or refuse them.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file your browser keeps at a site’s request. This page also covers equivalent technologies, such as the browser’s local storage. Some are essential to the site and do not require your consent; the others, such as audience measurement, are set only after you consent.
Necessary cookies and storage (no consent needed)
They make the site work and keep it safe. They are not used to track you or for advertising.

audit_ia_session |

XSRF-TOKEN |

site_consent |
Remembers your cookie choice so it is not asked again on every page. | 6 months | This site |
ds.theme (local storage) |
Remembers your light or dark theme preference. Stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. | Until cleared | This site |
The site’s language is read from the page address: no language cookie is set.
Audience-measurement cookies (with consent)
They tell us which pages are read, where visits come from and what gets in the way of reading, so we can improve the site. They are set, and their scripts are not even loaded, only after you agree, tool by tool. If you refuse, nothing is set and your browsing is identical.

Google’s lifetimes are set by us to 13 months; Clarity’s are those published by Microsoft. These tools transfer data to the United States: see the privacy policy.
Nothing in these tables is set until you accept. While the measurement identifiers are not configured on the site (the case outside production), none of these tools exists.
Managing your choice
On your first visit, a banner offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” or “Customise”, with the same visual weight. Your choice is kept for 6 months at most, then asked again. You can change or withdraw it at any time: refusing is as easy as accepting. Withdrawing consent deletes the measurement cookies this site has already set.
You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the site may then work less well, for example the demo request form.
No audience measurement is active on this site at the moment, so there is nothing to accept or refuse.
The platform’s workspaces
The firms’ workspaces and the participants’ interview links are on addresses other than this public site. They only use strictly necessary cookies: a sign-in session, an anti-forgery token and, for an interview, a cookie that recognises the participant’s link (and a second one when a code received by email is requested). No audience measurement, advertising or social-network tool is loaded there. How participants’ data is handled is detailed in the privacy policy.
